How to Request Letter of Support
Ohio Rural Health Association Letter of Support Request Guidelines
The Ohio Rural Health Association (ORHA) is committed to supporting initiatives that align with our mission to advance the health and well-being of Ohio's rural communities. To maintain fairness and ensure our support is impactful, we have established a process for requesting letters of support from ORHA.
Eligibility Requirements
- Active Membership:
Requests for letters of support will only be considered if the requesting individual or organization is an active member of ORHA. - Alignment with ORHA Mission:
The project, initiative, or proposal must align with ORHA’s mission and objectives to improve health outcomes in Ohio’s rural communities.
Steps to Request a Letter of Support
- Submit a Request Form:
Please provide the following Information: - Your contact information.
- A summary of the initiative or project (1–2 pages).
- Details of how the project aligns with ORHA’s mission.
- The specific purpose of the letter and the intended audience (e.g., grant application, policy support).
- Deadline for submission of the letter.
- Provide Supporting Documentation:
Attach any relevant documents, such as: - Grant proposals or applications.
- Project descriptions.
- Evidence of collaboration or partnerships related to the project.
- Please indicate - if work is to be expected from ORHA - if there be a financial award to ORHA
- Verification of Membership:
Your active membership status will be confirmed during the review process. If you are not a current member, your request will not be processed until membership is activated.
- Submit Your Request:
Email your completed form and supporting documents to executivedirector@ohioruralhealth.org
Processing Timeline
- Requests must be submitted at least 3 weeks before the letter is needed. Late requests may not be accommodated.
- The ORHA Board of Directors will review requests to ensure they align with our mission. You will receive confirmation of approval or denial within 10 business days of submission.
Key Notes
ORHA reserves the right to deny requests that do not meet eligibility requirements or align with our mission, or conflicts with grants and/or initiatives that ORHA is pursuing.
Letters will be customized to reflect the specific purpose of the request but will not endorse activities outside the scope of ORHA’s objectives.
